In 2016, more than 60 grant contracts totalling about lei 13.3 million were already signed. More than 60 files are under examination.

The procedure for implementing the programme file involves 4 steps:
— Information and communication,
—Training and entrepreneurial support,
Business finance/Regula 1+ 1,
— Post-financing monitoring and evaluation.

A programme to attract remittances into the economy “PARE 1+ 1” was initiated in 2010 with the aim of encouraging Moldovan citizens who work abroad to invest the money earned in business in Moldova. So far, more than 780 enterprises have been funded with EU support, the total amount of grants awarded amounting to about lei 133 mln. Thus, investments in the economy exceeded lei 386, 5 mln, and each leu granted as a grant generated about lei 2.9 investments in the Republic of Moldova’s economy.

In order to benefit from the financial sources under the “PARE 1+ 1” programme, the wish should be citizens of the Republic of Moldova, be a worker-migrant or commend of his first grade, confirm the origin of the money obtained from the work abroad.
