24 grant applicants under the “Pare 1 + 1” programme participate in the training session, which started today, 30 May 2016
The Regulation on the implementation of the programme for drawing up remittances in the economy provides that the grant applicant’s file must contain a certificate of participation in entrepreneurial training courses organised by the Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODSME). The regulation also states that entrepreneurs who are already running a business and have not been loss-making during the last 3 years are entitled not to participate in training, but will sign a Declaration on Honour on the effectiveness of entrepreneurial activity. For participation in training and entrepreneurial support, the applicant will pay 50 % of the cost of the training course.
The PARE 1 + 1 programme aims to mobilise the human and financial resources of Moldovan migrant workers in the sustainable economic development of the Republic of Moldova by stimulating the creation and development of small and medium-sized enterprises by migrant workers and remittances beneficiaries. The programme operates under the ‘1 + 1’ rule, so that each leu invested from remittances will be replaced by a leu in the form of a grant under the Programme. Grant beneficiaries may be migrant workers, citizens of the Republic of Moldova and beneficiaries of remittances, first-degree relatives.
