Project Collaborative Entrepreneurial Educationcarried out under the Romania-Republic of Moldova cross-border cooperation programme and funded by the EU, the aim of which is to train future engineers in deep entrepreneurial skills so that they can successfully start and manage their own businesses in various areas of the national economy here, at home, has benefited from the acquisition of the Eduardo software.

On 27 October 2021, at the FTP premises, the first training on the application of the Eduardo software for the training of students based on the use of IT tools in the entrepreneurial field was carried out, involving a group of 10 teachers providing teaching of economic-managerial and entrepreneurial subjects at the faculties of Textile and Polygraphy, Economic and Business Engineering, Computing, Informatics and Microelectronics, and Mechanical, Industrial and Transport Engineering.

The Director of A.O. ‘Business Advisory Centre’, Anatolie Palade, presented the possibilities and opportunities of applying Eduardo software in student training.

The Eduardo software is an exciting business simulation with extensive educational content that offers the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of entrepreneurial activity. The software offers options in the form of interactive case studies that can easily be integrated into the entrepreneurial preparation of future specialists at different university faculties to face industry challenges.

The use of the given software will enable students to capitalise on the knowledge gained in the teaching process by simulating business scenarios processes with a focus on marketing and sales, production and financial management, but also by simulating the start-up and planning of a new business. The practical hours carried out with the help of the entrepreneurial simulation software will contribute to the practical skills of future specialists of the UTM, facilitating both the hiring of future graduates and the successful start and management of their own business.

In the opinion of the teachers who participated in the training, the use of this software will make the hours much more interactive, stimulate students’ interest in studying entrepreneurial activity, but also allow for a more in-depth development of economic thinking.

The Collaborative Entrepreneurial Education project is funded by the European Union, the CROSS BORDER COOPERATION ROMANIA – REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA programme 2014-2020.
