Today, a working meeting was held with APL representatives of Cimișlia to set up the Multifunctional Industrial Platform in the city of Cimișlia.

During the meeting, representatives of the local public administration (APL) discussed the identification of the land for the location of MIPs and economic sectors with growth potential.

Director General ODIMM, Iulia Costin mentioned that the Multifunctional Industrial Platforms to be created in the regions represent opportunities for the development of municipalities by creating new businesses, generating new jobs and subsequently increasing investments that will facilitate the local industry.

The representatives of the Cimișlia LPA appreciated the initiative of the state authorities to create MIPs and to support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises. These platforms will create new businesses, jobs, increase investment in the development of local industries and existing potential.

So far, 9 fact-finding visits have been undertaken out of the 18 districts, with a lower level of industrialisation and first discussions with local and regional leaders on the creation of MIPs.

Please note that the Pilot Programme for the creation of the 18 Multifunctional Industrial Platforms is implemented by ODIMM in coordination with the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure.
