Director-General ODIMM, Iulia Costin attended the joint meeting of representatives today, 10 March APL Basarabeasca with a view to creating The Multifunctional Industrial Platform. At the meeting, the representatives of District Council and Basarabeasca City Council discussed the concept of developing this Multifunctional Industry Platforms (MIPs) the region’s potential for economic development was highlighted. At the same time, a visit to the site was carried out. MIPto be defined for this purpose.

Director-General ODIMM Iulia Costin noted the role of dialogue and cooperation between APL representatives with a view to strengthening efforts for economic development and the creation of the MIP.

APL representatives presented the region’s development strategy, reiterating the importance of developing entrepreneurship and job creation.

To date, local government jointly with ODIMM considered and proceeded with the necessary steps to initiate the MIPand will be signed in the near future Trilateral Memorandum establishing the MIP.

To date, ODIMM has signed 7 Collaboration Agreements with the APL on the establishment of MIPs in the districts of the Republic of Moldova.
