April: concrete support for Moldovan entrepreneurs, families and companies
06 May 2025, Chisinau — In April 2025, the Government and development partners continued to provide concrete support to Moldovan entrepreneurs, young families and companies.
Thus, 556 companies in the Republic of Moldova benefited from electricity compensation totalling lei 24.5 million for consumption in January, February and partly March. Financial support is provided by the State to reduce the burden of energy costs. The application shall be submitted in a simple online, via the EVO application or on the MCabinet platform, in the module ‘Compensations’ available for eligible companies.
Also in April, 298 households received state guarantees amounting to lei 222.8 million under the “First Home PLUS” programme, which allowed housing loans amounting to lei 375.7 million. The programme continues to give young people and families easier access to own housing.
In the entrepreneurial segment, 64 companies received lei 15.4 million in non-repayable funding through programmes managed by the Organisation for the Development of Entrepreneurship. Of these, 20 businesses were supported by external funds and 44 from the state budget.
In addition, 89 other companies in the Republic of Moldova were approved for financing totalling lei 28.5 million. Investment in the economy is estimated at lei 57 million.
Through the Credit Guarantee Fund, 41 entrepreneurs benefited from financial guarantees totalling lei 53.81 million. The support helped them get more easily credit for business development.
Under the Government Programme 373, 50 entrepreneurs took loans totalling lei 161.46 million for investment projects worth lei 220.12 million. The state offset the interest on loans from beneficiaries of this programme amounting to lei 4.57 million.
Also in April, via our financing line, a new recipient took a loan amounting to lei 610 thousand, intended for a project worth lei 706.68 thousand, thus contributing to the modernisation of its economic activity.
Behind these figures are people who build, work and hope. The support received from the State courages to go further and change their lives well.
