APL – partners in promoting ODSME support initiatives in the regions
Representatives of the Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Local Public Authorities of the Republic of Moldova (APL) met today in an information session on “Facilitating access for SMEs to business support instruments”. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure and the heads of the economic directorates of the district councils.
Petru Gurgurov, Acting Director-General, welcomed the participants, reiterating that ODIMM is campaigning to strengthen the partnership with the economic directorates and services of the District Councils.
“The information sessions are extremely useful because we are able to bring to your attention the latest developments in business support programmes, and the information obtained will help you identify appropriate solutions to remove barriers to SME activity in Moldovan regions, especially in rural areas,” said Petru Gurgurov.
Present at the event, Constantin Țurcanu, Senior Consultant, Directorate for Economic Policy and Business Environment of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, indicated that the Ministry pays increased attention to the SME sector and that LPAs are an important link to strengthen public-private dialogue.
ODIMM programme and project managers presented the most relevant aspects of the programmes they manage, highlighting that LPAs are the promoters of entrepreneurship support initiatives in the territory.
