ODIMM Director-General Iulia Costin continues fact-finding visits to the territory on the identification of location areas of future Multifunctional Industrial Platforms (MIPs). Today, the districts of Ocnița, Briceni and Telenets were visited.

In meetings with representatives of local public administrations (APL), discussions were initiated on identifying economic sectors with growth potential.

Representatives of the LPAs from the 3 Nordic districts appreciated the initiative of the state authorities to create MIPs and support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises. These platforms will create new businesses, jobs, increase investment in the development of local industries and existing potential.

So far, 5 out of 16 districts have been visited, with a lower level of industrialisation and first discussions with local and regional leaders on the creation of MIPs.

Please note that the Pilot Programme for the creation of the 16 Multifunctional Industrial Platforms is implemented by ODIMM in coordination with the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure.
