60 young people from Moldova and Ukraine will be trained in launching the business
Petru Gurgurov, Acting Director-General of ODIMM, welcomed the young generation’s interest in business and highlighted the support provided by ODIMM over the course of their choice. “Young people are active, enthusiastic and have many business ideas, and training and mentoring are key factors at this stage. We are happy to offer young people more and more programmes and projects to help them set up and develop a successful business. The project “Joint Business Opportunities for Young People” gives young people the chance to both train and get to know new potential business partners in Ukraine, "said Petru Gurgurov.
Vladimir Pavel, Director of the Administrative Council, New European Generation Youth Organisation in Ismail, Ukraine, said that he was happy to offer young people in his region a new opportunity. “The project “Joint Business Opportunities for Young People” is a challenge for young people to start and launch successful businesses”, highlighted Vladimir Pavel.
The project aims to support 60 young people aged 18-35 from the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine (Chernivtsi, Odesa and Vinnitsa) in setting up innovative businesses with a strong social and economic cross-border impact. Young people will also be encouraged to participate in the Seed Forums and benefit from online assistance and consultation on writing a business plan.
The project is funded by the European Union under the Moldova-Ukraine Cross Border Cooperation Programme and implemented by the Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODIMM) in partnership with the “New Generation Europe” Public Youth Organisation of Ukraine.
