April 28, 2026, Chișinău – During April 23–27, 2026, the pitching session for business ideas and investment projects was held online, organized by the Organisation for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA), in collaboration with the Moldova Innovation Technology Park (MITP), within the Program for Supporting Digital Innovations and Technology Startups.

During the session, 45 investment projects selected following the eligibility stage were presented, out of a total of 55 projects submitted under the first call launched on February 16, 2026, for Measure 1 of the program.

The pitching session provided startups with the opportunity to present their business ideas and investment projects in a structured manner, facilitating the assessment of the quality of proposals, their feasibility, and the capacity of implementation teams. The next stage involves the examination and approval of projects by the ODA Financing and Risk Committee.

The activity is carried out under the aegis of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization and represents an important step in strengthening the national innovation ecosystem and supporting entrepreneurial initiatives with scaling potential.

“We support the transformation of innovative ideas into viable and competitive businesses. Technology startups are engines of economic growth, and through these financing instruments we create real premises for the development of solutions with regional and international impact,” said Vadim Codreanu, Director of ODA.

An important role in the implementation of the program is played by Moldova IT Park, which contributes expertise in the project evaluation process and supports the development of the innovation ecosystem in the Republic of Moldova.

“We strongly believe in the potential of startups from the Republic of Moldova to generate globally competitive solutions. At Moldova Innovation Technology Park, we already see numerous examples of companies that started as startups and have managed to grow, attract investments, and expand to international markets. Through our involvement in this program, we aim to continue supporting this development trajectory and contribute to strengthening an environment favorable to innovation,” said Marina Bzovîi.

We recall that the program was approved in a new version in June 2025, being structured into two support measures adapted to the development stages of startups. Measure 1 is intended for early-stage startups and offers grants of up to 500 thousand MDL, covering up to 80% of the investment value, for the development and validation of innovative products on the market. Measure 2 is intended for startups in the growth and scaling phase and offers grants between 700 thousand MDL and 2 million MDL, with an intensity of up to 50%, conditional on attracting private investments.

During the period 2022–present, 43 innovative projects have been supported through the program, with grants totaling approximately 18 million MDL, generating additional investments in the economy of over 32 million MDL, oriented towards technological innovation, digitalization, and green technologies.

The total budget of the program amounts to 190 million MDL, part of the Economic Growth Plan.
