Over 100 entrepreneurs in the centre of the country, informed about ODA funding opportunities
Chisinau, 25 September 2024 — The Director of the Organisation for the Development of Entrepreneurship, Vadim Codreanu, and the representative of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalisation, Victor Ciobanu, have today made a visit to the centre of the country to discuss with over 100 entrepreneurs in Călărași, Strășeni and Nisporeni raioans on access to finance and development opportunities through government programmes.
The meetings took place at the Raional Călărași Council and the Business Incubator in Nisporeni, where Vadim Codreanu encouraged entrepreneurs to benefit from the grant programmes managed by ODA. The Director ODA highlighted the “Government Programme 373” as an essential tool to support development initiatives among local entrepreneurs.
The Director ODA also discussed with entrepreneurs the challenges faced in the region and presented them with non-repayable financing alternatives offered by the Moldovan government and the European Union.
‘Financial support provided by ODA programmes is the key for local entrepreneurs to turn challenges into real growth opportunities. Together with the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalisation, we are dedicated to strengthening access to financial resources for entrepreneurs, thereby contributing to the development of a strong and fair national economy,” declared Vadim Codreanu.
In 2022-2024, under the programme 373, 84 companies in Călărași raios, Nisporeni, Ungheni, Ialoveni, Criuleni and Strașeni accessed favourable loans totalling approximately lei 67.6 million. During the same period, 274 companies from these rainfall received grants totalling about lei 103.7 million under non-repayable financial support programmes.
